It all began on Christmas morning when I unwrapped a toy piano that would change my life forever. What seemed like a simple gift became the spark that ignited my passion for music. From the very first time I pressed those keys, I felt something powerful—like I had discovered a piece of myself.
Growing up in a Dominican household, merengue was always in the air. My parents filled our home with its rhythms, and at every family party, I would watch the dance floor come alive. The piano’s vibrant, playful melodies hooked me instantly, and I knew I wanted to create that same magic myself.
What began with a toy piano has grown into a journey of composing, performing, and living through merengue. I am here to keep the tradition alive, but also to bring my own sound—fresh, modern, and filled with the same energy that first inspired me as a child.
